Tucked away on Fula Lane in Gbondo Town, Bo City, Salone Helping Hands Vocational Institute has one simple goal: to give young people in our community real, practical skills they can use to build a future.

We know that a certificate means little if it doesn't come with the ability to actually do the work. That's why our approach is hands-on from day one. Whether a student walks through our doors already knowing what they want to specialize in, or they're still finding their footing, our instructors work closely with each learner to build confidence alongside competence.

Who We Serve

Bo City and its surrounding communities are full of talent young men and women with energy, ideas, and a genuine willingness to work hard. What's often missing isn't ambition, it's access: access to training, to tools, to mentors who've walked the path before them. Salone Helping Hands exists to close that gap.

Our doors are open to anyone ready to learn, regardless of their background or how far they've had to travel to reach us. We've seen firsthand how a single vocational skill learned properly and practiced consistently can change the direction of a young person's life, and often their entire family's.

What Makes Us Different

We're a small institute, and we consider that a strength, not a limitation. Small means our instructors know their students by name. It means feedback is immediate and personal. It means when a student struggles with a technique, someone notices right away and adjusts the lesson rather than letting them fall behind in a crowded classroom.

We also believe training shouldn't exist in a bubble. Our programmes are shaped by what local employers and markets actually need, so the skills our students graduate with are skills people are genuinely looking for.
